Ulla is a young lemming (small rodent from the Arctic regions) champion of ecology. She lives with her brother Egon, a computer enthusiast, on a small island off Svalbard and is involved in amazing adventures around the world defending nature. Ulla is curious, generous, a bit clumsy, and slightly annoying. Ulla and Egon receive an SOS from a friend who lives on Isla Blanca, in the Guanapé islands off Peru: a plastic mountain, coming from nowhere, has submerged the beach that contains their most precious resource, a special type of guano, indispensable for some crops. His friend Andreji, a polar bear who takes care of Ulla and Egon like an old uncle, advises them to contact Loup de Mer, a solitary and penniless sailor who, thanks to a fair payment, lends himself to accompany Ulla across the ocean. After a long journey, from Greenland, to the Caribbean, to the Panama Canal, the two of them, who in the meantime have become friends, arrive at Isla Blanca. The plastic did not arrive by chance: behind it is the devious plan of a gang of criminal sharks. They will have to fight to free the island and then decide how to use all that plastic...
